I was right. No need for a blog. Hm, I'm boring.

We Got It!

The seller rejected our initial offer, we rejected his counter offer and he wouldn't budge on that so we accepted it with the condition that the tractor that was in the contract would run. So we've all signed the contract, but we're waiting for the keys to be FedExed to us so we can try the tractor. In my eyes...
WE GOT IT!

I was right.

I really don't have enough to say to keep a blog updated.
At the moment, I actually DO have an update of sorts...
We made our bid on the land yesterday and the owner has until 6:00 Friday to respond. More updates to follow.
Oh, I guess I do have something to say today. Hm, interesting.
I get to see my new "niece" in a couple days!!! I'm headed to Rochester for a few days and am getting sooo excited. The only downside is that I will miss a visit from my in-laws as they make their rounds of the southern relatives. Oh well- June's not that far off, right?

Love at First Sight

Here's a couple pictures of the property that Ryan and I are probably going to buy.
It's 19.3 acres in the middle of nowhere and 360 degree mountain views.
Here's the property line and a yellow smudge where the owner has leveled for a house.

These two are both views from the home site. This would be the view from the front porch, I think.

So, A Blog

Maybe I've been wrong about this blogging thing. Maybe I can do it. Not as a personal outlet, but as a posted, public communicative outlet. Like a Skype family video call. Maybe. We'll see.
